Project Overview
Within the healthcare and public health system, disease control centers undertake critical functions including disease prevention and control, pathogen detection, and health risk assessment. Their core laboratories, as essential facilities for high-precision testing and research, impose stringent requirements on indoor environmental stability, cleanliness, and precise temperature and humidity control. Located in a subtropical climate zone, this particular disease control center in Fujian faces amplified challenges due to the combined demands of its specific climate and laboratory operations, which call for an exceptionally high-performance environmental regulation system. Leveraging its technical expertise in air handling, Aolan developed a customized solution for this project, successfully implementing an air environment control system that meets disease control laboratory standards based on liquid desiccant air conditioning technology.

Operational Mode
The project utilizes Aolan's heat pump-integrated liquid desiccant air conditioning units with pre-cooling, installed on the rooftop platform. The system operates automatically year-round and can intelligently switch between modes such as cooling, dehumidification, heating, and humidification according to actual demands. By precisely selecting and combining these operational modes, it maintains stable control over indoor temperature and humidity.

Results Demonstration
The equipment was commissioned and began operation in 2025. After tuning, it has been performing reliably, meeting all designed indoor environmental parameters. Additionally, during operation, the system effectively removes fine particulate matter, dust, and bacteria from the air, supplying clean, treated fresh air and significantly enhancing the overall indoor air quality within the center.
